I think it would be better suited if there were one piece of dominant art, it’s kind of lacking that. Right now, you don’t know what is more important to look at, especially with all the overlapping you have going on and the photo cutouts are similar in size. You kind of have to make it really obvious what you want people to look at. It’s not that you can’t have everything you have now, I just don’t think its functioning as well as it could.

The headline and the subhead are too far apart. They feel kind of just like they are sitting there or floating almost. The placement of the two also makes it hard to know if they are supposed to go together as one headline or separate as a headline and a subhead…if that makes sense. If we all didn’t know what the song was, it would be way more confusing. The sizes need to be more varied if they are supposed to be a headline and a subhead, or the text needs to be more similar if you want them to be more of a headline type treatment. I think you could have just stuck with “Semi-Charmed” and gotten the desired effect.

And what happened to the top of Stephan Jenkins guitar? I could be mistaken…but it looks very bizarre getting left out of the cutout.

Sorry to nitpick Kelsey, but after four years of design school, I guess I notice stuff.

I don’t like the font thing so much. I’d also prefer the cutline to be down at the bottom of the page instead of floating out of the guys ear. Also, a subhead on something as vague as this would be my preference.
